Vibration Analysis

Vibration detection and analysis is performed at the facility as well as in the field. They are primarily conducted by a "VB Series" by Commtest Instruments. This computerized instrument is extremely efficient and of new technology. It will analysis at 3200 lines and between 0 to 20,000 kilohertz.

Thermal Imaging

Thermal infrared radiation is the basis for infrared thermography / non contact temperature measurement. Infrared thermography is a "predictive" maintenance tool that gives the ability to see problems before they occur. It is especially helpful for trouble shooting potential electrical overloads, worn or bad circuit breakers and buses. Infrared thermography can also be used to detect bad bearings, shafts, worn pulleys or any application where heat detection would be beneficial. The digital thermal images (thermograms) are downloaded into a computer with compatible software that makes analysis of the thermograms possible.

Laser Alignment

Our motor to drive alignment is performed by using a "CSI Laser Alignment" instrument. This computerized, technically advanced piece of equipment is a critical part of making certain that motor and drive work together at top efficiency. In some applications, this is not an option. Not only does this insure operation at peak performance, but performance with as little wear and as few breakdowns as possible.

Machining

Machining capabilities are very extensive and diverse. Some applications are production and custom machining, shaft turning and repair, motor housing and key way, bearing journal, and babbit bearing. We use CNC technology as well as old school.

Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI)

Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) is used when specifications call for complete sealing of rotor and stator wiring and makes components moisture resistant. Our VPI tank has a large capacity and meets government certifications. We use only Ranbar B-7-619 Epoxy.
